Soleus Proteor, officially known as Soleus Oy, is one of the oldest still-operating assistive device companies in Finland. The company was founded in 1982 and its headquarters is in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki. Soleus employs over 20 experienced healthcare professionals are ready to assist self-paying customers and those with payment commitments granted by various entities. Soleus has three assistive device clinics located in Helsinki, Espoo, and Lahti. The CEO of the company is Timo Saari, and the operations are overseen by the company’s board of directors, chaired by Ossi Häkkinen. The company’s revenue for the previous accounting period was 2.46 million euros, with a profit of 58 thousand euros.

Our key areas of expertise are determining a customer’s need for assistive technology and manufacturing our own orthopaedic devices at Soleus Ltd’s assistive device clinics. By designing and manufacturing our own products, we can ensure functional products and flexible delivery times.

WITH OR WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT
You can visit us on your own initiative or with a referral from a health care unit. We recommend making an appointment in advance.
If you use medical compression socks and sleeves, please make an appointment for the morning, between 8 and 11 am, for measurements and fitting. Limbs have the least amount of swelling in the morning, which allows compression products to be fitted properly.

Accessibility
The Leppävaara clinic is easily accessible by public transport. Local trains (A, E, S, U and Y) and buses stop at Leppävaara station. If you are travelling by car, you can park in one of the parking spaces marked “vain ABP:n asiakkaille” (for customers of ABP only) at the front of the Alberga Business Park with a parking disc.
The Espoo clinic is open to customers from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
LAHTI ASSISTIVE DEVICE CLINIC IN THE CENTRE OF LAHTI
We measure, manufacture and fit the following, among other things:
• Custom-made insoles
• Orthopaedic footwear and sandals and other specialised footwear
• Custom-made orthoses
• Custom-fitted lower limb orthoses and peroneal braces
We provide artificial limbs, silicone prostheses, compression therapy products and compression garments in cooperation with our other assistive device clinics, which gives us access to a wide range of expertise.
